• Use “Too” and “So” to combine two POSITIVE statement with identical predicates

      (gunakan “so” dan “too” untuk menggabungkan dua kalimat positif dengan predikat yang sama)

• Use “Either” and “Neither” to combine two NEGATIVE statement with identical predicates

      (gunakan “either” dan “neither” untuk menggabungkan dua kalimat negative dengan predikat yang sama)

EXAMPLE :

Neno recognizes me. Nana recognizes me

• Neno recognizes me and so does Nana
• Neon recognizes me and Nana does too

Terry musn’t go home late. You musn’t go home late

• Terry musn’t go home late and you musn’t either
• Terry musn’t go home late and neither must you

• Use BUT to combining two different sentences

(Gunakan BUT untuk menggabungkan dua kalimat yang berbeda)

EXAMPLE :

• My father buys a shirt. My mother doesn’t buy a shirt

• My father buys a shirt but my mother doesn’t

Note :

• Untuk penggunaan so, too, either, dan neither gunakan kata hubung “AND”
